Toe cap panel is unsightly
I’ve been wearing slips-ons since around 2002. I’ve mostly owned them in Navy blue and checkered. I don’t ever recall there being a toe cap or extra panel construction in the toe box. I understand the functionality, as the canvas over the toes does tend to wear over time where the toenail rubs. But on my new black slip-ons you can clearly see the reinforced toe panel as it catches dirt; it looks like a toe cap. I’m not sure this performance construction is worth sacrificing the overall aesthetic of a classic shoe. Vans, please consider returning to the classic construction. Thanks.

Can't do without these standards
I've purchased these slip-ons before. They wash beautifully in the washing machine on gentle cycle in cold water. I like my white ones really white! I have these in so many colors and they never disappoint.

Took over a week to arrive with the only reason I received is because of my chasing with shoes ending being too small. The sizes are folded 1 size smaller than standard

Ok, BUT.....
Same style as the checkerboard style I bought at the same time, and same size, but oddly feels tighter and smaller. Takes awhile to break in (and it'll hurt 'til they do) but once they do they're great.

Lasted 4+ years of continuous wear
I've worn these shoes for years now and I've gotten the same pair the past 2 times now, after wearing them every day I'm shocked how long they lasted, i just had to buy a new pair which i haven't needed to in 4 years

Funny story…my adult son asked for these slip ons for Christmas, then again for his birthday in February and then for Father's Day!!
