La Prairie Swiss Pristine Essence, 5.3 oz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using La Prairie Swiss Pristine Essence and wow, such a great product. It’s normally something I wouldn’t even consider due to the price, but now I’ve tried it I’m hooked! I was a bit worried that it might bring me out in spots as my skin can be very acne prone especially when trying new products for the first time! It didn’t though and my skin has never looked so good. I’ve been using it for just over 3 weeks and I already have noticed how smooth and brighter my skin looks. My skin has a lot more glow, probably due to the hydration benefits in the product which my skin after a long hot summer so desperately needed!! It glides on the skin easily and you don’t need too much. It’s not sticky like some others I have tried in the past. I really like the design of the bottle, very easy to use. It smells nice and not too overpowering which is good. It’s my new go to product, I think I’m hooked, definitely will be purchasing in the future.

Since I've started using this and making it routine I can see the improvement. My skin looks healthy and glowing. The Bootle is easy to open and use and the smell is very pleasant!

My skin felt smooth after use, however, I feel it didn’t make much difference to my skin as the likes of Liz Earle, whose toner I use regularly. And considering the price difference, I probably wouldn’t purchase this in the future

It feels lovely on the skin and has that really nice lightweight texture that makes it easy to use without feeling heavy or sticky. My skin feels softer and more hydrated after using it and it leaves it looking fresh and healthy rather than greasy. I also really like how quickly it sinks in so I can carry on with the rest of my skincare without having to wait around. It feels like a proper little luxury step in my routine and the packaging definitely adds to that experience too. I’ve really enjoyed using it and my skin has felt comfortable and well hydrated while I’ve been using it. Definitely one I’d be happy to keep using as part of my routine.

A great refreshing toner to start and end the day with after washing my face. The swiss pristine essence toner spreads easily on my face using a cotton pad. It has a light floral scent that isn't overpowering and disappears quickly after use. It provides a good base to put my serums and moisturiser on with. I did not use this with the rest of the range so cannot comment on how well it all performs, but the essence did leave my skin feeling refreshed and calmed after washing. I used it for 2 weeks morning and night. The bottle is very elegant with a glass bottle and shiny silver cap. The outer packaging is delightful! A great gift

The texture is very lightweight and watery, easy to use, thanks to what it absorbs very well. After using, my skin feels immediately soothed, soft and hydrated. It is a great step in the skincare routine, preparing the skin for the next products without impacting their texture and feeling on the skin. After more than a week of using I noticed that my pores are a bit less visible and overall, the tone looks more even. I very much like also the bottle and its design – looks very unique and luxurious, even the way it was shipped made a big wow factor. I use this essence twice a day – in my morning and evening routine, after cleanser and toner. It has some ingredients that I have never used before, but my skin definitely likes them!

It applies smoothly doesn’t feel too watery or too thick, great texture and makes the skin tone even, well hydrated and glowy. It’s truly beautiful. The skin improvement is immediate, it works like wonders. It’s a great skincare addition but it’s not something that’s a necessarily!
