I’ve been buying and returning dresses since July trying to find one for an Oct wedding. THIS IS IT!! Slightly tight through back but bigger size would be too low cut and seams at shoulder wouldn’t fit properly. It’s beautiful. 5’6”/145#…. Got an 8
I got so many compliments on this dress for a fall wedding. It fit perfectly (size 8) and was forgiving in the waist. My only complaint is it's way too low cut and showed a lot of cleavage. I found a black, lace tank top/cami to wear underneath to cover up a the cleavage. Otherwise it would have been too revealing for a wedding.
It arrived later than the date stated when I purchased it. Too late for the event I needed it for. Very disappointed with Macys.
It is a nice dress but it did not fit.
This is a very good quality dress. The fit is as advertised. I am 5”4’, 134 pounds with post menopausal belly flab and this dress hides that with the flare yet makes me feel slim and pretty by the fitting bodice in size 6. The multicolored velvet appliques on sheer have an eye cat iridescence. The 3/4 sleeves are perfect for coverage without being cumbersome and are a lovely shear black with the velvet appliques. The underlying slip is a smooth texture on the skin. The movement of the skirt is natural. I plan to wear it with plum colored heels. This was purchased to wear at my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner and it will be perfect, too, for my husband’s niece’s wedding. I have been shopping for months and have found similar quality dresses that cost twice this price. I am so pleased with my purchase!
I purchased this dress to attend an autumn wedding. The dress was a perfect size 12. It is a beautiful dress with rich colors. I am short, it falls mid calf for me. I couldn't be happier with the dress. It zips up the back. It is very flattering.
This dress is beautiful and well-made. It is true to size, but the top runs a little smaller if you are big chested. I really loved it and recommend it for a fall wedding guest dress.
