sweater material
It's unfortunately quite ugly. What I couldn't tell from the pictures is that the sleeves and back are sweater material. Also there's a little gold snap in the front to hold it closed, and it doesn't lay flat so you can see the gold and it looks like you just pinned it to keep it closed. (Btw, I'm between an x-small and a small and ordered the small because I was worried the sleeves would be too tight, but it ended up too big.)
