I absolutely love these mats! and crumbs. I had one in my kitty condo since I was training a feral cat I rescued to use a litter box. She was a little messy and litter was all over the bottom of the cage. and allowed her and I have these by every litter box to catch the tracks.
It was great for the messy litter we used. In the meantime we found a less messy litter and a cat box system that worked better. Since we no longer have messy kitty litter, we did not need the bigger mat. I'm sure it would be great. made it easy to dispose of.
Gave it to a cat owner as a gift.
I can't speak to durability as I've only been using these for a few days now. I am impressed that the litter actually gets trapped inside the mat and does not lay on top like my other litter mat. but after seeing how well it works,
So easy to clean, and a light enough to pick up and dump the trapped litter into the trash can. Would definitely recommend these to anyone with more than 1 cat.
Noticed that my small dog also used it and helped when we had rain or cold weather so I purchased another set.
It's a litter catcher with holes over a closed base. So far so good.
Have considered getting 1 or 2 more. Helps keep the floor clean around the litterbox. Between this and we don't have litter all over the place anymore. Definitely would recommend some of these for anyone with a litterbox.
Even long hair in between the paw pads, which seems to exasperate the spreading of litter. We did try to move them to a 'better litter' than clay, however while they are still using clay these HUGE pads are working GREAT. A little bit of clay litter still makes its way into odd places of the house but nothing like it was before. Therefor I especially approve.
Work really well under the cats' litter box but to get it just right had to lay it out
