Coleman 1000 Lumens LED Outdoor Camping Light Lantern with BatteryGuard

couldn't get the bottom off or the lamp to turn on

The Coleman 1000-lumen LED Lantern with BatteryGuard in green is one of those pieces of gear that instantly earns its spot in your camping bin because it's bright, dependable, and thoughtfully designed for real-world use. The light output is genuinely impressive-1000 lumens fills a whole campsite, a tent, or even a backyard during a power outage without feeling harsh. Batteryguard is the standout feature: being able to disengage the battery when not in use means no accidental drain and far fewer surprise dead lantern moments, which every mom appreciates when she's the one keeping everything running smoothly. The build feels sturdy, the green finish is charmingly classic, and the runtime is long enough to get through evenings of cooking, card games, and kid chaos. It's practical, durable, and quietly premium in a way that makes you trust it every time you click it on.

This lantern is great!! Lightweight, easy to pack, and weighs almost nothing! I love the controls to adjust the brightness. It's definitely a powerful light since it is LED. It lights up quite a bit of area.

Don’t order this product. The part where you put the batteries in you cannot get the lid closed. There’s some type of defect with this design.

Nicest, Brightest, Little Lantern you could ask for

I have two battery guard lanterns both are now junk as the cheap on off switch is broken on both of them. And no replacement knobs are available. This is crazy that you can not purchase new knobs.

I feel that I owe it to Coleman and to anybody out there with a brain to write a good review for this product. If you are not an idiot, you will love this product. I just took it out of the package and put the batteries in. It works great and is very bright. Most people only take time to leave negative reviews. Just carefully close the battery compartment in reverse of how you opened it. Don’t try to turn the knob past the stopping points. It’s made of plastic because plastic is affordable and lightweight. I am fully satisfied with my purchase. If somebody had left a review like this when I was reading them before my purchase, I would not have been so hesitant for no reason.

A little larger than expected, otherwise a wonderful product.

Bought it for Hurricanes here in Hurricane Ianville, Cape Coral, Fl. So far its great. Bring it on Hurricanes. Ready!!!!!

I love this lantern and have had none of the problems others have reported with the battery compartment.
