Trimmer is great, charge cord fails
I bought this trimmer to replace my old peanut. I got this one for the retirement community I do hair for once a week. I love the new one but I only gave it 3 stars because the cord it came with will not charge it. I also have the lithium ion at my regular salon and it charged great in the base for that but I don't travel with that base. I keep the new one at the retirement community so not having a charger that works at that spot now is a problem.

loud but great
I love this trimmer!!! I like the peanut for general trimming/edging, it's not doing anything fancy, but it's not trying to. great all-around workhorse. My only beef is that i wish the blade was quieter. the motor itself with no blade is basically silent, but the blade is quite loud. other than that, it does its job without complaint. also matches my color scheme, would recommend

The clipper everyone sleeps on
I am a professional barber of 10 years and I gotta say I’m glad wahl came out with this. Sometimes I want a clipper that is not going to hit as hard as my zero gapped ones. Especially in mustache areas, older guys with thin skin, and children. This will pair great along my hi viz. Would I recommend this for crispy line ups, no. But this clipper has its place in my arsenal. Is it a bit noisey, yes but it wouldn’t be a peanut if it wasn’t. I like the sound of them.
