[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dior Capture Intensive Essence face lotion has left my face and neck feeling hydrated and radiant. The lotion has a thin, almost mucus viscosity to it that makes it last longer with less product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit confused by what the product actually was because it said “lotion” but turns out it’s not a moisturizer and is meant to be applied before moisturizer. The smell is fragrant and noticeable, a high end skincare smell. So would avoid if you try and avoid fragrance in your skincare products. Otherwise, it’s a perfectly good essence. In tandem with my usual moisturizer, my skin was feeling very hydrated and glowy.

The finish doesn’t leave any oily residue. Overall a great product to add into my skin care routine.

The only thing I did not like was that it’s so heavily fragranced, especially being a face lotion, it’s so strong it gave me headaches.

It has a nice scentthat doesn’t last on the skin, which is great because I’m a little sensitive to strong smells. It absorbs quickly and there’s a noticeable difference in the hydration and flakiness of my skin throughout the day when I use it.

A little goes a long way, and I personally like the subtle scent. I use it after cleansing before I put on my serums and my moisturizer and it layers really nicely with my other products. My skin feels hydrated and refreshed after using it. I have been looking for an essence to incorporate into my skincare routine, and this works great for my needs.
