LEGO® Editions Ayrton Senna Helmet 43024 931-Piece Building Set, Ages 14+

Such a great set with the helmet of my favorite driver of all time. The assembly was good and the final look of the set was very good.

My son bought me this as a gift. I hadn't played with or built Lego since I was a child some 50+ years ago when you could only build square houses and cars. I found this a great challenge and it kept me busy for around 12-15 hours. My only criticism is that the side pieces can come adrift quite easily as you fit other parts. I did not come across any instruction book errors as mentioned by others, any parts in the wrong place were down to me not looking at them closely enough. One final point is that I wish the Marlboro logo was included in the sticker pack so you could decide for yourself if you wanted to add it to your set or not.

Firstly the helmet is great and a good addition to my collection. However, there is an error in the booklet which confused me and made me think I had done something wrong when I hadn’t it is just a printing error. Also it is another fragile build, I think the build process for any future helmets should be looked at and considered, as this one came apart in a few places when attaching pieces and this happened with the other F1 helmets.

If you’re a F1 fan, this is a must have. As a Brazilian, having Airton’s helmet is such a nice memory of his legacy.

Why can’t you put an age restriction on this like you do with Red Bull and add MARLBORO to it? It doesn’t look good just having a blank white box front and center on the helmet.

Loved building this lego. There is one mistake in the instructions book that had me confused for a while but I figured it out. The helmet looks amazing after you’re done building it. Would 100% recommend this or any other f1 helmet available by lego!

Let down only by the need to resort to a 3rd party sticker for the Marlboro logo. The huge white space on the helmet detracts from an otherwise great helmet. My only criticism of the PDF instructions was my inability to differentiate between longer or shorter curved plates, especially the green ones with the stripes on. Led to trial and error till I got the best fit.
