This shirt is a little long but it looks great for the colder months and wearing it open, and versatile to wear with other items in your wardrobe besides the matching pants which I did get and they fit great and it looks chic as a set. The color is nice, not very bright and would look good during the winter months to wear to a casual holiday function or holiday shopping or anytime you want to wear some color. I would say that the color is not a super rich red - more wine with a denim-like ash, but it's a nice layer to have on hand especially to punch up an all black or all light-colored outfit. I'm usually a 2X/18 in tops - the 3x has an oversized look but a 2X might be slightly constricting if I ever wanted to button it up.
