I gave these a 50/50 chance of being cute or looking like clown pants. If you have no hint of bulge or pooch around your middle, these may be great on you. If you do…buyer beware. On me, the scale tipped to ‘clown pants.’ Stats are 59 yo, 145 lbs., 5’6”, not much of a waist, pretty straight figured with some post-menopausal bulges. Hips are more 28, waist is more 29. Tried both sizes-same conclusion.

I absolutely love these these jeans. I saw them on the rack and knew I had to buy them. They are true to size. A perfect 28, it fits nicely waist, hips, legs and length. I washed in cold water and line dried, per directions. The fabric is a little heavy and rough, but that is the style. I can wear these jeans with so many different colored tops, black, white, beige, camel. Well made jeans.
