Samsung QN65QN70HAFXZA 65" NeoQLED Smart TV with 4K Upscaling (2026)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Samsung TV. All have been high-performance and delivered good value. The positives: 1. An excellent picture. 2. Good form factor. For this particular TV, the setup and tuning are painful. I use cable TV. I just wanted to turn on the TV and go to cable, but I got a screen full of apps, including a link to HDMI 3, where the cable box sits. Finding the cable system with the TV remote was also challenging. Eventually, I found the settings to go straight to cable, but it took a couple of weeks. I also set up Alexa, but then decided I didn't want it turned on. I couldn't figure out how to disable it on the TV. Fortunately, I could disable it on the Alexa app. My previous Samsung TVs had more picture-setting options. I finally used Expert settings to get what I wanted. Everything is working well now, and it was worth the effort. It's just that the effort to get the TV working the way I wanted took 2-3 weeks. The manual provided very little help. I even downloaded the longer manual from the web, but it didn't seem to match what came up on the TV.

I can easily navigate different apps, hook it up to my computer to use as a monitor, and catch football games with my grandsons. It's the BEST purchase I've made since beginning to lose my eyesight. Accessibility settings make it possible for to announce where my cursor is and what I am selecting, and brightness/constrast settings allow me to adjust to my visual comfort. The size of the screen and the PC scaling function make this a 50" monitor for my laptop, so I can actually see what the heck i am doing on the computer. Thank you, Samsung, for caring about low-vision accessibility.
