This is a great sound bar and has crazy good bass. The detachable speakers need improvement in either their calibration process or overall loudness. Using the calibration process through the JBL One app does not give you loud enough sound through the detachable speakers. You can trick it into getting louder but shouldn’t have to do that for a thousand dollar setup

Best sound deep bass clear and seamless to set up top quality

Very easy to install. It was almost "plug n play". The base turns it into a 4D experience

As a note, I prefer these comments not get published. This message is between JBL and my experience. But, I understand if I am committed to doing so by agreeing to the Terms & Conditions. I am doing so to relay shortcomings for a specific audience. I purchased this soundbar primarily to listen to classical music concerts. I wanted to here beautiful music through superb speakers. The soundbar and subwoofer and height sounds are wonderful if I am listening to action-packed shows with explosions and jets flying overhead and surprising, loud noises. But, with beautiful concert music, the features it showcases go unused. As such, they are just regular speakers in a unique physical format. I was searching for other high quality equipment to use with this soundbar, but no longer. I continue to use my medium grade floor speakers and am pleased. I have not used a soundbar before, so I didn't know what to expect. As a newcomer to that world, I could have made improper adjustments, but the settings were refined by an experienced A/V enthusiast. He applauded the quality of the soundbar with subwoofer when playing suitable sample videos. In addition to enjoying concert music, I also stream 4K videos. Since I am not attracted to action-packed movies, I am unable to take advantage of the soundbar's standout features through video streaming. As such, I use my new, high-quality, 4K/8K television sound system or the soundbar. I respectfully submit my experiences.

This soundbar is worth it. It sounds amazing, even the little sound you hear. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great sound quality. Loved the modular design. But slightly on an expensive side.

I love this speaker system. I do have a slight complaint. But is very minor. When I purchased this speaker my plan was to mount it to my TV, like my previous speaker. But that did not work out well. And there is no documentation or support for mounting to TV. Only table or wall mounted. There might be a good reason for this. So i just table mounted mine.

How about the soundbar in late April in dire need for a good soundbar. And woa had I underestimated the 1000mk2! First off, it was easy to set up.That's always a plus. But the sound and the detachable side speakers for surround sound are phenomenal!

Premium sounding experience for a budget price. The JBL Subwoofer 1000MK2 series was really the upgrade that I was looking forward to as its not too expensive like other brands such as B&O or even Sonos but does match the quality and performance that the premium ones deliver. After using the product over a month my take on the product is given below ; Pros: 1. The Bass is the standout feature here even though the size of the sub woofer has gone down from previous generation the quality and richness of the bass produced have gone up actually which is great. 2. The connectivity features are the best available at this price point , you practically get all the connectivity feature that you ask for even for an audiophile like me I have no complaints. 3. The Dolby Atmos feature and multibeam 3.0 are no gimmicks here as you can really say the difference when watching good quality content along with pure voice 3.0 technology that is there no more dialogues in any of our favourite movies or series are muffled up. The night mode is also another nifty feature where we can actually switch off the subwoofer and main speaker and get the smaller detachable ones to play what we need so we ain't waking up our little ones. 4. The JBL one app is also improved now so that the connection is way better and also fine tuning the speakers based on our setting is also done through our app without any hassle. 5. The detachable speakers are better and are now rubberised with covers to both the ends so we are getting to enjoy more of what we love without any compromise and the battery life for these have also improved so we dont have to move them around midway during our favourite show or while you are enjoying the party.
