To my chagrin, the dress is very matronly looking in person; and much longer than it appears on the model in the photographs. Definitely polyester feel to the fabric as well. Reminds me of something from the 1950s from a Greek chorus on the island of Greece.
I bought this dress to wear on a cruise, it's elegant, and fits perfectly. I'm sure that I will get a lot of wear out of it. I am a size 10P, and it's true to size. I am very happy with this purchase.
