Style & Co Petite Crewneck Long-Sleeve Floral-Print Sweater, Macy's Exclusive

I love everything about this sweater for fall except that it has split side hems! I absolutely think that it ruins the look and is entirely unnecessary, especially in a petite size! It makes it awkward for me to roll under for tuck in if worn under a coat or dressier jacket. I’m sure that this detail does not bother most people but it is a no go for me. As far as everything else, it is a nice lighter weight layering sweater that can snag if you’re not careful. Wash in cold in a garment bag. Doesn’t pill which is appreciated. I’m actually writing this review based on the same sweater, different print from last year/season. I did purchase this one too in the brown and black but managed to return it within 30 days of purchase this time around when I realized it had those side splits. Am I hung up on an inconsequential detail? Probably. However it ruins the style for me. I would still recommend the sweater overall and also think that the ivory and purple is beautiful.
