Holiday Lane Opulence Embellished Tree Table Decor, Macy's Exclusive

I have a few other pieces by this brand so I was comfortable ordering online. Sadly, either the quality is lacking this year or they send the bad pieces to online orders. The one side was concave inward and you could not put that as a “backside” against something solid because the opposite side had stuff all over the gems (maybe glue?). I have to believe that not all the pieces are like this because no one would buy in store if that were the case. Therefore I suspect they choose “bad” pieces to ship for online orders. I returned. If it was not concave on one side and with gunk (that would not rub off with fingernail) on other side, it would be a stunning piece.
