[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love LEGO anything! And as huge car enthusiasts, this was such a great set for my son and I to do together!! It was the perfect amount t of challenging while remaining fun without frustration.
I really enjoyed building this car. The E30 is one of my favorites and to finally have an official Lego version? Freaking amazing, however I wish it came in red. I would LOVE a full size version to pair alongside my Porsche 911 Turbo/Targa set or the beautiful Landrover set. This Speed champions earns its place on my desk but a full size M3 E30 in red would earn its place on my dining room table.
Bought this as soon as it came out and was really looking forward to the build. I have all the F1 Speed champions and a few other speed champion sets which have all had a great build, this one didn’t though. It was easy enough to build however parts of it seem very fragile and instructions are not clear in places
This was probably the most unique Speed Champion car that I have built. The colors are striking and the car went together fairly easily. The white bricks and the colorful stickers make this car really stand out. The wheels spin very smoothly and the orange rims with the BMW logo in the middle of the rim looks good. Want something that looks good on a shelf or desk get this little gem.

Iconic piece of Automotive History, thank you BMW & LEGO for a wonderfully designed set. Absolutely no complaints, simply a satisfied fan of both the M Class BMW and of course the undefeated LEGO Brand.
As a builder who appreciates solid design, I have to commend the structural integrity of this set. It easily passed the ultimate 'two-toddler play test,' proving it is not just a display piece but a highly durable build. Visually, the final result is striking, particularly the sleek side profile. While there is a slight color discrepancy between the red sticker decals and the physical bricks, the beautifully printed elements—especially those incredible printed wheels—really elevate the model. It is a fantastic, robustly engineered car that looks great on the shelf and holds up in the playroom.
This was such a fun set to build! I really enjoyed all of the unique building styles and printed tiles.
Great build starting out with a different approach to building the chassis rather than a plate. Odd choice to not have studs in the cab for the minifig to sit on but otherwise it fits comfortable. Very happy to see the color palette from former BMW kits return. Healthy balance of printed pieces and stickers to complete the overall look.
