I was looking for a dress to wear for an upcoming, stress-inducing, photo shoot that would complement the family pictures we had taken more than a decade ago, and everything about this stunning, color-block, silhouette worked except for the length … I wanted a floor length/maxi dress. So; I bought and returned six other options because not one of them made me feel like a Kiyonna dress does… Desperate, I finally ordered this dress thinking I’d make it work by pairing it with black hosiery and an amazing shoe. [I have extensive, and extremely noticeable, vein damage on both legs that I am self-conscious about, so I feel most comfortable, and confident, wearing maxi or floor length dresses. ] The dress arrived: I tried it on, held my breath and then, the very best thing ever happened! I am only 5’ 5,” so, this dress styled with a fabulous kitten heel is close to perfect on me! Worn with a flat, but fabulous, shoe and this dress is sheer perfection … a 10/10! “Chili Pepper” is a glorious, brick/rust, color, and the fabric feels like a hug, and while it looks like it could be high maintenance, it is deceptively low-key and launders beautifully! What more could a girl want? I couldn’t be happier with this dress, and; trust and believe: if I look and feel this good in it, you will, too!
