[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toaster is burning the bottom half of my bread in the back slot. No matter what setting is. The le ft hand bottom corner always burns. I have a warranty. I hope it will replace or get my money back.
Does not toast evenly. The bread was browner on one side than the other.
Today unfortunately, all things are made cheaply...the quality of the material isn't what it used to be. But it works nicely...
Bought this to replace a 20 year old toaster that worked flawlessly for years. Used this once. The second time the lever would not stay down to hold the bread in place. Nothing looked broken. It just doesn’t work. Now a second trip back to the store to return it. I would not buy this again.

It is small and very lightweight! - Check It has a plastic outside that is cool to the touch, and safer for us! - Check Comes in the coolest Matt Grey and is made by Cuisinart - Check & Check I have a small kitchen and it is so effortless to take this from the shelf to the counter and back, and if that is not enough, and it is for me... It is less than half of the other$ - that cannot even come close to the features this one has. I truly have been looking for a long time for all of these features and they are affordable! I am not a toaster fan, not yet - but this may just drive me over the edge of the bread! Tune in next time for the... Just kidding - (memories of childhood, right there)! The description was inadequate as we thought it was for long slices of bread. The product has been returned.
I haven't used this Cuisinart 2-Slice XL Slot Toaster yet because after taking out of the box, the knobs and dial are cheap, flimsy silver plastic and I can't imagine they will hold up. I had a 4 slice slim white Cuisinart, but the lever to push down the toast wand more substantial. UGH!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster about one month ago. I love its appearance and features. What I don’t love is its inconsistent toasting. My previous Cuisinart toasters allowed me to set one toasting level for all types of products. This one will burn one side of wheat toast on level 5 or 6 but not fully toast sour dough bread on either of those settings. I have change toasting settings for each different product and cross my fingers that it doesn’t burn or have to be retoasted.
