Tight across the bust even though ordering larger

This dress is really pretty and elegant. I ordered a S but way tight across the bust. I wear a 6 in most clothes. I don't order dresses often, especially fancier labels. I replaced it for a M and it's still tight there. The length is pretty good. I'd like it a tad shorter. I decided to buy a different dress since the shift style is not flattering to my short athletic body. It looks great on the super thin model. I'm 5'2 and 144 lbs and it's just straight down, not going in at my curves. My new dress came in. I will review that too. Another story, lol.
