Waykar 2500 sq ft Dehumidifier for Basement – Intelligent Control, Auto Drain

Needed a dehumidifier for a finished basement room. My wife was always concerned about moisture in this area. I liked this unit since it was offered in black. It is quiet but not an issue for us since it's located downstairs. I check the bucket twice a day but typically empty it at night. She was right, we do have some moisture down there! It seems to be doing a good job and we are well pleased with the purchase. We hope it lasts for many years to come.

Bought this for my small condo. I let the machine sit out for 24 hours before plugging in. I have ears of a dog so I can hear a buzzing sound when the machine is on dehumidifier mode. It doesn’t matter if it’s on low or high, that buzzing noise is loud. Some of these reviewers might have a bad ear to hear sounds but I can hear the buzzing noise. It doesn’t go away after having it for a while. When I set it at 50 humidity, it will stop at 50 when it reach to exactly at 50. However, if I set it at 45, the machine will still run when it drops to 43. It doesn’t turn off when it gets to 45. The reader of humidity seems to be inconsistent.

This dehumidifier is very small and is indeed quiet. However when it fills up it doesn’t shut off the water pours out onto the floor. So I’m really unhappy with the purchase.

Works to keep my apartment dry. It's fairly quiet; something like a refrigerator plus a small fan. The collection tank is small so it fills up like 3 times a day in wet weather, but the whole unit is pretty compact, which is nice.

We have had our Walker 34 for about one month now and I have emptied SO MANY pints of water. It is quiet and easy to use. Very happy with this purchase!

My home was built in 2020 & my bedroom is so humid in the summer. I had an old, heavy dehumidifier in the attic but don't use it because it sounds like a helicopter is in the room with me. That old machine was loud. After some research I chose this 34 pint model and am so glad I did. It took over a week of constant use but now my bedroom has a humidity level of 48-49%! My sinus congestion has diminished quite a bit and this machine is so quiet I don't hear it at all. It's fairly lightweight and the water container is easy to handle. My room is about 425 SF and I keep the door closed. If you're looking for a quality machine that gets the job done and at a fair price then give this one a chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 30 pint model. It’s compact and good for smaller spaces. I like how quiet it is and unlike other dehumidifiers it doesn’t generate a lot of heat.

Its much smaller then I imagined and it fills up quickly in the basement room. But it is very quiet and that's important to me. I realy thought I chose the white one when I ordered it, so I was a bit disappointed that a black one came.

I bought 80 pint dehumidifier instead of 34 pint ….

It has been working well, is much quieter than the previous one we had.
