I purchased this gown for a formal summer wedding & it was perfect! The gown was also very comfortable after I purchased a bra that was appropriate for the low cut back. The colors of the gown were very beachy & summery & I received several compliments that day too.
It's a gorgeous dress. Elegant and looks great. It's long, so I am having hemmed.
Fit is okay - liner underneath is twisted/doesn’t align properly when the dress which is annoying. The neck line doesn’t lie flat and tends to roll up in half. I’m 5’” and the dress sweeps the floor so it requires hemming or very tall heels. I plan to return this.
I bought this dress well in advance of the wedding for my daughter, that I will be wearing it to next year. From the neckline (Jackie O) to the soft vertical ruffle on the back, it is exquisite! I bought two sizes, as Donna Karan can run large. I ended up going with my true size, as that seemed most flattering for me. I am 62. There are no pockets or zippers, and I did not expect any, but some reviews mentioned them. None are needed.
It's a pretty dress but the cowl neck folds upwards in half. I brought it to dry cleaner to be pressed to stay down and it didn't help. Keeps flipping up. Not as pictured on model.
Beautiful dress - even better in-person than online. Comfortable, breathable, and exactly what I envisioned to wear to this fancy wedding.
