Cuisinart CPT-640 4-Slice Toaster

I recently purchased the Cuisinart toaster, and I am extremely pleased with its performance. My favorite feature is its ease of use—operating it is straightforward and intuitive, making breakfast prep quick and hassle-free. I haven’t encountered any major complaints with this toaster, and it consistently delivers evenly toasted bread every time. Given my experience, I would confidently give it a 5 out of 5 stars rating. This toaster is an excellent choice for anyone looking for reliable performance and simplicity in their kitchen appliances.

I don't like that the exterior, toward the top, gets hot. But it works like a typical toaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster does what it’s supposed to do, toast things, and it does it well. Toasts both sides of the bread so much better than my last toaster (not a Cuisinart). Very happy with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Cuisinart toaster cooked my toast in a few minutes on level 3 - 4. This new toaster is at the top level - 7, and it is only mildly brown. A disappointment.

This model caught fire from the heating element on the bottom and engulfed the plastic bottom tray, if I had not been in the kitchen it would have started a house fire. The toaster was not dirty and there was no food in it at the time.

This is my second Cuisinart four slice toaster. The first one was great but this new one just seems cheap. Just today I was toasting a bagel. I had the Cuisinart turned to bagel and the darkness up to a number 6 and the bagel was placed in the toaster with insides facing out. The bagel popped up and was hardly toasted at all. I turned the other side up to dark and it turned out better. I think one side of my toaster is defective. The whole toaster is just not solid; it feels cheap. I am sorry but I was hoping for better.

I still haven’t received my order, even though it was supposed to be delivered 15 days ago. Please let me know when I can expect to receive it.
