Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron 6.5-Quart Deep Round Dutch Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this over the weekend and was so excited to use it. I'm loving it so far. Cooked my dish perfectly and it was not as heavy as i expected

It just arrived a few days ago, so I have not used it yet. What I did notice right away was that it is so much lighter weight than my old Dutch oven that was getting too heavy for me to use. Looks very well made and a beautiful color.

It's been a lifelong goal to get a Le Creuset product, and that has finally come true (just got this)! Enameled cast iron is not only durable but versatile too. Use it on stove top or oven. I'm looking forward to using it for many years to come.

Le Creuset products are top notch and the 6.5 qt Signature Round Deep Oven is the perfect all-purpose size.

I bought this beautiful deep oven recently, during the special sale you had, and made soup in it in the last week. It is SO fun to use! I love the "Flame" color. It makes it easy to fit all of my ingredients into it, when adding what starts out to be a lot of volume, but cooks down a lot. In the past, when making large amounts of soup, I had trouble having enough space in the top with my other dutch ovens, that were not deep enough...and I would have to transfer part of the soup to another pot. It was frustrating to have to use two pots for one recipe! So, thank you for making this deep pot! It is easy to use and clean! It heats equally throughout the oven...including on the sides, and retains the moisture of the ingredients, when covered. Love the large metal knob, too!

I have been waiting for this to go on sale.... worth the wait...

I have a huge 25 year old Le Creuset dutch oven, but the color does not match my kitchen decor. Plus, I wanted a smaller one to function as a slow cooker. This dutch over can remain seated beautifully on my cooktop and beautifully accents and blends with my decor. I am hoping to someday get a matching petsl top braiser. Meanwhile, I am using this also as a braiser.

I’ve long wanted a good Ditch oven. This one not only looks beautiful, it heats evenly on the stove top and oven, and it cleans so easily! Pot roast, roast chicken, soups - this is my favorite pot!

I never thought a pot could be beautiful but here I am. More importantly, it is great to cook with. It is my first dutch oven and I am so glad I finally was able to purchase it. I have only had it a couple of weeks, but I have made a whole chicken, chicken noodle soup, and tomato soup in it. The even heat distribution makes cooking so much easier for me.
