Nike Men's Pegasus 42 Running Sneakers from Finish Line

Nike Pegasus 42 is a return to the Nike of old. Finally!! Good reliable durable shoes that you can rack up the miles on. And with reasonable stack height and firm landing these are a training delight. Instead of the mushy over foamed landing of many of the shoes on the market, with the Pegasus your knees will thank you (firm and lower stack height is your friend). I am putting about 50 miles per week on them and they are great. I ran in Nike for 20 straight years mostly Vomeros and Air Zoom but in the last 3 years stopped as often the shoes would be shredded in a few runs. Happy to say these Pegasus 42s are holding up well for me.

Loved the fit of Pegasus 41 but 42 is too wide for my narrow feet. My foot slips inside toe box causing blisters under foot. Tightening the laces helps somewhat but upper fabric folds, rubs and sometimes “clicks”. Same issue with the Pegasus ACG Trail. The new, bouncier midsole foam is great but the fit isn’t for me.

Hi Nike. The Pegasus is a great shoe helmet the color combos are terrible. See that light grey sneaker. Why does it have an ugly red stripe across the bottom. Why can’t you make them in one color. You can’t even make them with the design your own nine. You have to discount them because of this. That’s why market share is dropping. Give people better simpler options!

My first pair of Pegasus was the 41’s. I run 5 miles everyday and the 41’s were an absolute dream to use. Because of how much running I do, I unfortunately ran through them rather fast. I discovered Nike had launched the 42’s when I had logged in to buy a new pair of 41’s to replace my worn out ones. I am equally as happy with the 42’s. Fantastic running shoe all around. Highly recommend.

Shoes are cut small would recommend going up a half size.

I got these shoes to start training my running as im preparing for an agility test. Have to say they are amazing and really cushion your feet when you're running or even just walking around. My feet dont hurt anymore after running or the next day. Im very satisfied with these shoes, I will definitely buy the same or the upgraded version when these give out. (Hopefully not soon lol)

So, I am writing on behalf of my husband since I always order for him! I think he is addicted to his Pegasus sneakers. He has about 12 pairs & as soon as I see a different color he orders them. It’s always hard to find sneakers you especially when you wear size 15. He says they are extremely comfortable & the best sneakers he has owned. Take it from an all around athlete & former basketball players. You can’t go wrong.

I bought my first pair of Pegasus 42’s earlier this year and have found them to be extremely comfortable, durable, great support and perfect for my runs, walks and workouts. I bought this second pair based on my personal delight with this product.

True to size for sure unless you’re a wide footer. Toe box was roomy enough. Took these out for my first run in them and they fit great. Comfortable and pretty light weight. Overall great Pegasus. They look great too.

After first run they feel great so far like the wider toe box. The change in how the foam is spread across the foot bed is quite noticeable and welcome change. Solid training shoe
