I’ve had the same coat in green for years and I decided it was time to upgrade. Unfortunately the quality has dropped significantly. The zipper is way cheaper. The coat isn’t as warm, it’s much lighter than the original one. Also, it had a nasty smell of humidity on the coat when it arrived. I’m assuming it was stored away for along time. I had to wash it immediately to get the smell off. I decided to keep it because the price was reasonable for a winter coat and I like the style.

I can’t tell you how many coats I’ve tried and ended up returning. I wanted something elongated, hitting just below the knee—straight, fitted, and warm enough for NYC winters. I’m not a fan of the A-line look; it just doesn’t flatter my figure. This coat checks every box. It’s extremely well made with a substantial weight, but it doesn’t feel heavy or drag you down. I purchased the XL/Black—I’m a 44D bust and 5'5"—and it fits perfectly, hitting just slightly below my knee. Finally, the perfect winter coat.
