Excellent works well with Thunderbolt and Displayorrt.
The display is sharp and true to colors. The DisplayWidgetCenter app is a bit of a disappointment, as it is for Windows, even though the monitor is 'designed' for Mac use. The display was easy to configure and booted up immediately. It is quite bright and has a lot of adjustments.
Use this monitor for astrophotography and it’s resolution and color are fantastic
Here’s a balanced “still evaluating but positive so far”
My goal was text clarity and I got it! It is also very easy on eyes as they don’t get tired after many hours looking at screen. I’m glad I went with this over an OLED.
Amazing resolutions and accurate color on my Mac Studio
I recently had the pleasure of using the ASUS ProArt 6K monitor with my Mac, and I can confidently say it exceeds expectations for creative professionals. From color accuracy to build quality, this display is designed with precision in mind. Display Quality: The 6K resolution delivers breathtaking detail, making it perfect for photo editing, video production, and design work. Every pixel is sharp, and the expansive color gamut ensures that images appear true-to-life. HDR support enhances contrast beautifully, providing deep blacks and vivid highlights. Color Accuracy and Calibration: Out of the box, the monitor is factory-calibrated to achieve outstanding color accuracy. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 and AdobeRGB color spaces, ensuring my work looks consistent across devices and in print. ASUS’s ProArt Calibration software makes fine-tuning simple and precise. Mac Compatibility: Connectivity is seamless with my Mac, thanks to Thunderbolt 4/USB-C support, which also allows for fast data transfer and device charging. macOS automatically recognizes the display and scales the resolution perfectly, making the workflow smooth and efficient. Build and Ergonomics: The monitor has a premium design with slim bezels and a sturdy, adjustable stand. Its ergonomic flexibility—tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments—makes it comfortable for long editing sessions. Verdict: The ASUS ProArt 6K monitor is an outstanding choice for Mac users who demand professional-level visuals and precision. Its combination of resolution, color fidelity, and seamless connectivity makes it one of the best monitors for creative professionals. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Just connected this monitor to my laptop. Doing retouching for powerpoint presentations. Great calibrated graphic colors.
I added a MAC M4MAX to my desktop and needed a really good display that would be able to take full advantage of the MAC from the perspective of color accuracy and detail. After much research the PA32QCV was my choice over all others and so far this ASUS monitor has exceeded my expectations in virtually every respect. I run a dual monitor setup, and the other monitor paired with this happens to be a high performance ASUS gaming monitor the PG32UCDP which is the main monitor when competition gaming for it’s 240/480 Hz refresh and 4K resolution. The ProArt display runs 60 Hz at 6K and both monitors are able to scale perfectly with a lot of adjustability via the screen widgets ASUS provides for both Windows 11 and MAC OS. The PC running a NVIDIA RTX 4090 connects to each monitor via high quality DP cables one to one. The MAC connects to each monitor via USB C Thunderbolt directly. Slightly better than daisy chaining for performance theoretically. Then it’s just a matter of switching monitor inputs between DP and TB when I switch computers. Easy Peasy.
