Tarte™ Line & Lift Mascara and Eyeliner Bonus Duo

Best mascara I have ever owned. Lengthening and smudge proof. Love it!!

I'm really pleased with this duo. The mascara adds noticeable length and volume without making my lashes feel heavy or clumpy. It separates the lashes nicely and stays in place throughout the day. The eyeliner is smooth, easy to apply, and gives good color payoff in a single stroke. It glides on effortlessly and lasts well without smudging, making it perfect for everyday wear. Overall, this is a great value set with two high-quality essentials. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable mascara and eyeliner duo.

I thought I was ordering the same mascara I have used for awhile but after receiving it and comparing with my current tube, I noticed it does not have "XL" on there, which is the gold tube. This version is not nearly as wonderful as the XL version. I am only keeping it because of the free eyeliner. I can use it for everyday wear but would never buy again.

This is the second time I've bought the Tarte LINE & LIFT duo that contains mascara and eyeliner (pencil on one ends and liquid liner on the other end). AGAIN, I attempted to use the gel liner and found it to be dry with the pencil dragging when I attempted to line my lid and then it would eventually break. The liquid end of the pencil works great. Apparently this is new old stock and Macy's has stocked up but the pencil liner is of no value and brings down the value of this product and it's name. I finally read the reviews for the "gel" pencil and i discovered my complaints are highlighted as CONS Breakage: Some reports of the pencil breaking frequently. Dryness: The gel can be too dry for some, leading to patchy application By MACY'S own admittance this product (DUO) is no good and I believe should be discontinued. Either drop the eyeliner or replace it with a new one. I will go into MACY'S to test the pencil before I buy because i love the tarte brand. Online sales are so dishonest and a pain. I rated it one star because this is my second order and I have the same problem

I bought this because I already knew I loved the mascara and I needed a black eyeliner so I wanted to give this one a try. I love retractable pencil end, however I always get a bad reaction to liquid eyeliner so I was afraid to try that end. The glide on the pencil is very smooth and doesn’t tug on the lid, which is really nice plus it’s a real rich black. I’m very happy with both products.

The mascara is fantastic and worked without smudges. The price with the eyeliner was great. However the gel eyeliner was so dry I could not write on a piece of paper with it. When I was trying to break off the top to get to a less dry area, it just broke off and is hard as a rock.

Eyeliner was dry, was not able to apply. Mascara smudges slightly.
