shrinkage
fabric shrank after I washed it. Now too small. returned it to Macys and was told they do not except garments that have been washed. but just this one time as a courtesy the clerk would do it. How do you truly know if a garment fits until it is washed? There is the fabric smell that has to be removed so you wash it and the garment shrinks. Not the consumer's fault the fabric reacted in this matter.
