I do time lapse and night lapse storm photography. This magnetic door kit will insure that my cameras are not compromised by water getting inside them. I water proof my external battery source and with this kit I know my cameras are safe as well. This works better than expected.
The Contacto charging system allows for a continous weather-proof power supply when capturing overnight timelapases. I use mine attached to a power bank to keep my GoPro Hero 13 charged overnight and into the next morning. The best thing is not having to open the latch to charge, the traditional way.

Love it! Helps create a smoother workflow. Only real disappointment is that it's not compatible with the additional grip that can be added to the cage to create a more "camera feel. " The cage itself slides on. . but the "door" of the cage that the grip attaches to can't shut. Unless I'm just doing it wrong? 😂 it leaves me feeling torn between which I'd rather use, when the truth is that I love both and would love to be able to use both.
