Willow Kitchen 2-Slice Toaster with Window

Browning evenness

Two issues: it toasts too dark for my taste even on the lowest setting; and I have to push down the lever numerous times before it "catches". Thought I'd love this, but not so much.

After only four (4) days of use the toaster started to smoke and is no longer working.

I like the open window on the toaster. It works pretty well, but the dial has to be turned down to 1 or 1 1/2 unless I want burned toast. At least it toasts on both sides. Many I have bought over the years start toasting on one side. So far, this is a nice toaster.

In the past 20 years we have bought several toasters and toast ovens, I have to say this is so far the best!

It won't stay down when I try to use it to make toast

Love that I can watch my bread brown as it toasts. Great idea having a window

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new modern age toaster! The see thru window helps me to ensure my toast isn't more done than I like. The setting buttons are easy to understand and set so that my toast turns out just the way I like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter lives in a small college apartment and this toaster is the perfect size for her kitchen. It allows her to cook a few things at home without using all of her counter space. She loves the viewing window to keep an eye on her food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With this one, I can literally see the color change in real time, every batch comes out exactly the way I like it. It sounds like a small thing but it saves time and avoids wasted bread. it fits right into my kitchen without taking up too much counter space.
