Land's End has inconsistent sizing for me. Sometimes a L, sometimes a M so I bought both. Tried on the M first. Big, sloppy, and much shorter than the photo. 5'6", 150 lbs. Heavy like sweat pants. Just not for me.
These slacks are very comfy and the fabric is good quality. I ordered multiple colors after trying the first pair. Will be great for daily or work wear this fall & winter!
I walk my dog 4 or 5 times a day. I put her on the leash and out we go. I wanted to look better, instead of sweats, pj’s, or jogging pants, I purchased these in blue in a size large.,I am 5’1” 170 pounds. I thought large would be tight. The large fit like clown pants so I gave them to a friend who is a bit larger than myself. She loved them and looked so good in them that I bought medium in every color. These pants are awesome in fit, loose and flowy, hit at my ankles. My inseam is 28”. The waistband is very comfortable! I now own 2 in every color. I can dress them for events with a nice top and better shoes or for walks and every day wear…. slip-on tennis shoes and a loose tee. I highly recommend these pants as the most comfortable and dressier alternative to joggers, sweats, yoga pants. Just as comfortable maybe even more so. But size down.
The pants don’t look very different in person, low quality material and fit is like loose sweatpants. Returned it.

I’m a size large and I should’ve ordered a medium in this pant. The photo doesn’t give it justice. It’s actually nicer.

The fabric of these pants was a hit. Nice medium weight, waist was comfortable and length is perfect. But, if they are barrel pants.....they are kind of shapeless and the pockets are not deep enough for much. I sent them back.
