Excellent quality, doesn’t replace a heavy cleaver
This is a sturdy knife, worthy of a professional kitchen. Great for chopping and other tasks, with a beautiful construction. I had hoped it would be a little heavier to really let me get through the toughness of squash skins with ease, but overall this will do very, very nicely. I made sure to buy this knife because I like the German-made knives a little more than some of the other lines. The quality of the blade is clear.
