Since Alex&Sophia do not provide a size chart, I ordered 2 sizes and paid extra to get fast shipment since they are VERY slow to ship. The smaller size was big in the bust and small in the hip. The larger size was small in the bust and fit the hip. The proportions of this dress were way off from one size to the next.
I'm not a Juniors, but got this for a black tie wedding. I'm normally a size 6 or 8 in women's and got this in size 13/14 and it was perfect. Very comfortable and lots of compliments. The mini train is a fun addition!
Simple elegance is the best way to describe this dress! There's no huge wow factor beyond the velvet material and long train. The fit is snatched; the material isn't cheap so you're held in very well! Would definitely wear this to a black tie company/corporate party or charity event. Just be prepared to pair this with bold accessories so you don't look too "plain Jane".
Length is great. I'm 5'5". I might of needed to size up but I just barely fit. I weight 175 lbs and am a C/D cup. The color is majestic. Absolutely love this dress.
10/10, got so many compliments. Pretty sure it’s for prom, I wore it to a formal wedding and it was everything!
