I’ve been buying Vionic shoes for over 10 years. I’ve noticed the quality slowly declining, but they’re still better than the average brand. I bought these sandals for a wedding that I knew I’d be standing in a lot. I broke them in over a few weeks, wearing them 30 minutes here and an hour there. I thought I’d be fine. Man, I was WRONG. I put the sandals on the day of the wedding, and noticed that they were starting to pinch a couple of hours in. A few hours later (about 5 hours in), I could barely stand. My toes had gone numb and I was tripping over my own feet. When I got back to the hotel, the shoes looked terrible- the leather had been scuffed away at the toe, it looked like I’d worn them for weeks. After I took the shoes off, I waited for my toes to start tingling. Unfortunately, they stayed numb. I have waited now 10 days and I still can’t feel them. My podiatrist said it could take 4 months for them to fully have feeling again.

I have a wide foot I am a size 11 and I have bunions on both feet. Buying shoes, especially heels, is a very challenging process. These were beautiful, comfortable, elegant, and I danced for an hour in them. I rarely find a shoe this beautiful uncomfortable. The size 11 runs a touch big which I needed.
