I used to wear Dioressence years ago before it was discontinued. When I saw that Dior had brought it back I was thrilled. I ordered it and it was green instead of a light goldish color. It was NOT the old Dioressence I used to wear. But I sent it back and tried Dior essence…this is IT!! I have been enjoying it for the past few months and I love it!
The opening is my favorite part—bright, juicy and mouthwatering, with a beautiful dark-fruit sweetness. It literally made my tastebuds tingle. But as it develops, that juiciness begins to fade and a much drier woody character takes over. I think I'm almost getting a slightly smoky quality underneath, while remnants of the juicy fruit seem to be fighting to hang on. I kept wishing that gorgeous juicy opening had stayed around longer. It's not a bad dry down at all; it's just drier and woodier than I was expecting
I absolutely adore this perfume. I first received it as a sample when I bought the Eden ROC. I like the Eden, but I love this.
just know you WILL get compliments .. gorgeous scent that lasts all day . I lay it with kayali rose royale in summer, and wear it alone during colder months.
