Perfect Name Capturing the Essence of the Boots
These are my second pair of Xtratuf boots. The fit is true to size and the 12" Legacy boots are a nice compromise between keeping my feet dry and being too tall (and warm). These are excellent boots for inshore and offshore fishing. The design and workmanship is outstanding.

Quality Product Made for Commercial Fishing
Xtratuf boots are known for their quality construction for the Alaska and PNW outdoor environment. These are warm and dry boots that have true sizing. I liked the lower height (12") so they provide protection without being too warm like the traditional boots. These are the second pair of Xtratuf's I have purchased and look forward to using these during the winter season.

pros and a major con
The boot is easy to pack, lightweight and easy to get on and off. The only negative is that is it very flimsy to walk in. It provides zero support for one's ankles so when walking in muck, the boot goes sideways. I think if you are doing stationary wet work, it's fine. If you are going to be more active in the boot, find something sturdier.

Boots seem durable. Wish they came in wide & half-sizes and for larger calfs.

highly recommended
These are really good boots. They are excellent for wet floors—they don't slip—and come with a fantastic insole that lets you work all day without tiring out your feet. I recommend them for heavy-duty work.
