I love the watch and it is a huge upgrade from the Lily, which I loved, but the battery life was terrible! I do wish that I wasn't STRESSED OUT all the time (which I am really not), which affects my sleep score.
It's been about a month now, and it is pure love. I loved my Vivoactive 5, but this Vivoactive 6 is true love. First off, it's easier to set up. Second, what it offers is second to none. The new features are wonderful, and I love the wheelchair mode. The reminders are great; they get me moving. It's the perfect watch for me.
Love that i get way more days compared to another watch
Personally, I don't like the watch. The installed face is ugly. I just want a face that gives time with a second hand. I haven't found one yet. No ring around edge for seconds. It's too sensitive to touch and is constantly changing things. I also don't like the way it changes things on it's own. I put it on in the morning land the face is something I don't want and didn't select. I want a watch that tells time, measures steps, gives me my heart rate. There may be other functions I could use This thing has far too many options. I don't want to work in a group of share my activities. It should be able to turn off any function you don't want and not have it appear on it's own. The "take a break and get some exercise" thing is particularly annoying. I have been working up a sweat and this "suggestion" pops up. How ridiculous can you get? I'll not buy another Garmin watch.
Most of the upgrades from my vivo 4 I like. However I am disappointed that they got rid of the altimeter for counting stairs. Also have repeated trouble stopping a workout. It doesn't always stop it and jumps to other screens. So overall it is a Meh!
I upgraded from the Venu square and I love it! Easy to use and easy to read. Battery life is decent. Love all the health features as well.
This was a birthday present from my husband. He was tired of me complaining about the inaccuracy of my previous device( not naming names) This watch is fantastic!! I have only begun to explore all it can do but so far I am thrilled with it tracking my swim laps and times and swolf. No more counting! Can’t wait to dive into my running stats. It also has much better messaging and I can listen to music without my phone. I was worried that it would be too big and clunky for my small wrist but it is very light and comfortable.
I had a Vivoactive 5 for 2 years and really liked it. I never used all the functions (senior woman here). What sold me on the 6 is the battery life. Just WOW!!! 7 days later and the battery is still 51%. The watch face is pretty and so far I have been able to figure out how to use it- remember senior woman!!!
Excellent battery life, setting options, status reports and interface. While still learning the nuances, being new to Garmin, I've found it relatively intuitive.
Its nice. I just am not thrilled with the color. Hard to match a different band. Also, the calorie burn seems much different than the 5. We shall see.
