Eufy SoloCam S340 Outdoor Solar-Powered 3K Resolution Wireless Security Camera

I bought this Camera around 2 years Ago and I had no issues with it, after a while mine wouldn’t charge up to 100% anymore with the solar panel so I had to manually take it down and charge it with a USB C cable from time to time. I have a strong feeling that the Texas heat messed it up internally because until 1 month ago it completely disconnected and died on me, it wouldn’t charge anymore. Overall great security camera, just wish I could’ve had that fixed. Replaced it with a C37 in a shaded area.

This is my 9th S340 out of 11 Eufy cams. Have had the majority since first sold for about 3 1/2 years+. Simply put the system works and have been very reliable!

I love all of my Eufy cameras, and this one is another great addition. The picture quality is excellent, setup was easy, and the solar panel is a huge plus. The camera has been reliable and gives me great coverage around my property. Very happy with Eufy and would definitely recommend this camera! Highly Recommend!

I placed it in the exact same spot that the last camera was in. However, network capture never occurred despite multiple attempts.

I really like this Eufy camera and would definitely recommend it. The AI tracking works really well and follows people or vehicles once the motion detector picks them up. My only complaint is finding the right position for the motion detection. Because of the roughly 15° detection angle, people walking across my yard usually trigger it, but vehicles coming onto my property only get picked up about 75% of the time. If they approach from the wrong angle, it may not trigger at all. I’m still trying to find that sweet spot. Overall, I’m very happy with the camera. I just wish the motion detection had a wider angle. For that reason, I also hope there will eventually be a way to enable 24-hour recording, so nothing is missed when the motion detector doesn’t pick something up.

This is easy to place and setup. I like that the QR can still be used without having to disassemble it. It works really well in capturing the wild life around my house, day and night.

The description says this has a 135° viewing field, but it does not start recording until someone is well within the viewing area. 90° at the most. I have had people walk in front of the camera and not be recorded until they are about 45° from where the camera is trained. Not at all what I was expecting!

It will not track movement on its own only on live feed.
