These pants are beautifully made and flare gracefully when walking. The material is heavy and stretchy at the same time and looks dressy and luxurious . The " waistband " is not separate , it is made my darting the cloth slimmer. The inseam is only 29.5 inches long which is perfect on me because i am 5 ft 2 and will wear 2" heels with this . If you are a much taller person they may be too short.
