MACStack Elevated Mascara Mini - Black Stack

This is one of the best mascaras I've used in a while. I was genuinely surprised that only one application was sufficient.

This mascara has its pros and cons from the short amount of time I've been testing it. The pros are that it's not super clumpy. It's actually quite natural even when applied heavily. It separates and defines really nicely and the packaging is super lux and sturdy feeling for being an essentially "sample size" mascara. And the wand is incredible if you have deep-set, almond eyes because it's shaped in a way where it can get the tiny little hairs on the inner and outer portions of your lashes. But I have found some cons as well. It does flake and smudge if you accidentally rub your eyes or get too oily/sweaty. It also doesn't hold a curl super duper well compared to other mascaras. So I'm torn. I don't absolutely dislike it, but I do hope the formula maybe dries out a bit more to remedy some of my gripes with it, if it happens to go down that route. For the price, it may be a deal breaker for most. I'm still on the fence and will continue testing it...

I love how my lashes look (and i layer with the primer). BUT by mid day, i have full on racoon eyes. For some reason, this cannot stick on my lashes and are almost non existent by late afternoon. I love the initial application and my lashes appear curled but I look a mess.

This mascara is pretty good. I'm not used to using curved wands, but that aside, it coated my lashes from base to tip very evenly without clumps.

This product is fine, but it still REALLY struggles to be a satisfying mascara for me personally. I love the colour, I love how it doesn't dry quickly either, but it still isn't quite coating my eyelashes in a satisfying way, the product struggles to leave the spoolie well enough, having to apply multiple coats, especially if I wanna see it actually extend my lashes properly. I'm not sure what MAC was going for with this one, a mascara for those who don't like a lot of length on their lashes? I'm not sure. It just isn't giving me much length at all, which is not fun because I spent over $30 on this, which I don't normally do for a mascara. I have tried drugstore mascaras that extend my lashes MUCH better than this, and absolutely coat my lashes properly, though still not a perfect colour. To be honest, I am disappointed with this mascara, especially the price I'm paying for it. I like how long lasting the formula is though, it doesn't dry quickly at all. I was mostly drawn to this product for it's extremely unique bottle design, but, even that does not properly save this mascara.

I love this product! First of all, I love the curved brush. It perfectly glides along my lashes and provides the perfect amount of coverage. This mascara elongates my lashes and adds fullness perfectly. I have very blonde, thin, straight lashes and this mascara is the best I have found yet for my lashes.

I love this mascara. This mascara has become my go to. I have to make sure I don't run out of it. You don't need fake lashes with this mascara. Give it a try.
