Donna Karan New York Women's Jacquard Strapless A-Line Dress

This is not a size 10. I normally wear an 8, but couldn’t zip it up.

I purchase this dress. My expectations for the cost would be that the material would be good. I travelled to my Friends wedding with intentions on wearing this dress. As I was walking out of the door I bent down and the zipper popped. It was no way to fix it. I was highly disappointed. I purchased a size up just to be comfortable. It did not work in my case.

I walked in to sit down at a wedding ceremony and my neice's bf turned around to see us approach and he said, "Wow, I love the pink dress." He's around 30, I am 57 and it was the sweetest compliment of the night. I received many following his throughout the evening and I felt so pretty in this dress. I did have to get a size 12 to even though I wear an 8 usually because of my chest size. I also had o have it hemmed to keep it tea length. I had my tailor make straps from the hem to accomodate my body type and it just was stunning. The pink floral brocade leans more champagne than silver or gold, so it's very flattering for all skin tones. I am very fair but got a spray tan and the metallic color looked great with an without a tan. All 3 of my sisters want to borrow this dress.

The material is more shiny that what the picture showed and the bust area it's a bit weird but I'm small on top so it's ok.

I purchased a smaller size dress because reading the reviews stated it was big on top and my size was not available. Needless to say I received it today and it is too small and I can’t not return it. Please don’t say to big if you are not a standard size,

Although I got a small size, the bra it’s like a C cup which it doesn’t matches the dress. The worse part is that I can’t return it cause it was the last call.

Runs small.

The dress is elegant and can be worn at the wedding, or similar events. It highlights the waist making you look very elegant. The lengths make this a very classy dress, which is why it will be suitable for any formal occasion.

The dress is beautiful. The fabric is magnificent and the fit is great. The color is as beautiful as shown.

Perfect but I needed to get a size bigger.
