At this price point of $100 this is an awsome and very comfortable and super light shoe. You have to give Brooks a chance before you buy another Hoka. Brooks has huge line up of shoes and remember if you don't like the way it feels you have between 30 to 90 days with Macy's you have nothing to loose . Good luck with your decision
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trace 4 is very comfortable, stable and has plenty of room in the toe box. So much, in fact that I didn't need a 2E width. I liked them so much I bought an extra pair in both black and Navy. The padding is great. I'm a fast walker, but not a runner, and they suit me perfectly. I also like that they came in a simple navy/white and black/white.
Too tight in toe box and side. Uncomfortable to wear. Got pain in both feet after taking few steps.
