I got my skirt a few days ago. When I opened the box the smell was awful. I went ahead and tried it on. It is a good fit. It is true to size. I like the belt and zipper closure. It has been hanging in a fresh air area but the smell is still there. I don’t want to return it but I need suggestions on how to get rid of this awful smell in the fabric. Can someone contact me with suggestions?
I wore this skirt on Christmas Day and it was festive and comfortable. A bit large due to my size was not available. So I ordered a larger size. It has a belt so it wasn't too bad. Got great compliments on the look.

This skirt is simply beautiful and soft. The faux leather did not disappoint and looks so lux! I definitely will buy the brown in this due to the quality of the material and the wide belt elevates the look.
Unfortunately the skirt I purchased had a very unfavorable smell. I noticed it immediately when I opened the bag. I left it out for several days to see if the smell would dissipate but it has not, so I will be returning it to Macy’s soon.
I love the item purchased but it has a terrible odor and will have to return if the smell does not go away.
