They are very comfortable and they warm, which is good, but I didn't have any sharp toenails and I wasn't even walking in the socks so it had to be a defect.

The only minor issue is one sock of the three pairs I ordered has a pulled stitch or whatever you want to call it. Only time will tell if it unravels or not, but that's the only reason for the 4 star rating. My wife and I are very happy how they feel, they are very warm and very soft on the inside and they sit perfectly just above a low top shoe. I have a little neuropathy in my feet, so the extra warmth is appreciated in these cold months!
