I layered this puffer with the Leconte Tech Grid Fleece Half-Zip on an Alaskan cruise. Absolutely perfect for those misty cool days. Went on a hike outside Ketchikan and Nugget falls. Had to drop the puffer as I got to warm. Packs nice in its own pockets and fits in the backpack, is not ultralight but not too heavy for day hikes or walking around sightseeing!
Surprisingly warm for how light it feels. Warm and somewhat water resistant.

This coat is not what I expected and made me feel like is was the Michelin Man. This coat does not have their normal athletic cut and was quite broad in the shoulders and stomach. Maybe it will stand down with time? In addition, the Rosin gree is not green. It is more like grey with maybe a sight hint of green. Again, not what I expected. I do think the coat will function as needed fortunes like dog walking and such, which is why I gave it two stars

I wouldn't say you'll be winning any fashion competitions, nor is it quite as warm as you might find with some other jackets, but it's versatile and practical jacket that could be worn in a variety of circumstances. I'm 6.1" 180lb and bought an XL, which I can wear comfortably with a sweater underneath. I also have very long arms, and the sleeves are long enough for me in the XL, which is great.
In all fairness, the jacket may be great, but since Macy’s hasn’t managed to ship it yet, a week out, I can’t comment on anything but Macy’s lack of performance. Promised by the 7th, 2 updates for a delay, and still not shipped.
