I bought these boots last month in a size 8. Thru were true to size and comfortable True to color. The zipper is on the back of the boot. They do not zip up with ease but once they do they fit well with plenty of ankle support. If needed, I can run in these.

I bought the boots that are pictured as brown; however I received a burgundy color, still a good pair of boots but the color is extremely misleading. If you’re expecting brown, don’t buy it.
