Le Creuset Essential Nonstick Ceramic Shallow 8" Frypan

This purchase replaces an 8in LeCruset saute pan I bought ~10yrs ago. It was a 'non-stick' pan that I loved and used more often than any other. It was showing some wear and tear and when I dropped it edge first the now bent pan was needing retirement. I read up on the new nonstick ceramic pans and figured to give it a try. I've only used it ~10 times, but I'm impressed. It is very slick, heats up evenly and cleans with a wipe. The heft is also nice, not as light as the previous pan and not as heavy as my cast iron LeCruset pan. A good purchase and given the quality I've come to expect I trust it will pass the test of time. If after a year it Performas as well, I'll change the rating to 5 star.

Best non stick pan I ever had. I had others before but they never satisfied as this one. I bought 3 now, and can only express my total satisfaction.

works great

Perfect size for two empty nesters! We use it everyday!

Beautiful pan works great. However the outside material scratches easily

The pans ok but it scratches easy when stack pans in the cabinet

I was so excited to buy a ceramic frying pan from Le Crueset. I have a few other pieces from this brand that I have for many years and always loved. To my disappointment, this ceramic pan even though I was so careful to use correctl utensils started peeling on the top sides (not the cooking surface). This peeling started about 1 month after I bought it but I figured it was fine because it was not a toxic material and was not on the cooking surface. I recently looked up the safety of eating from a chipped ceramic pan and it said to stop using right away and contact the manufacturer. Now, I’m hoping that LeCrueset will either refund or replace (not with another ceramic pan) my pan. I would not recommend this ceramic pan. I only gave it 1 star because it was required that I give at least 1.

This pan works very well. It cooks my food evenly, and it cleans up easily.

The best
