I bought this to go with an emerald ring. Absolutely perfect. This picture should be re-taken. It sincerely doesn't do it justice. Just the right size, and the color is beautiful. The diamonds are not like the picture. They are clear and bright. I took a chance, and I am more than pleased.

I purchased this but returning. The stones too small only good for Younger one, i would prefer bigger emerald. The lock is not good enough to secure and wont get lost while wearing. I will have to use the transparent thing to secure it

What makes these earrings are their modern design, very classic and elegant also. I ended up returning them for a larger pair of emerald earrings. These would be a lovely gift for a high school, or college graduate, who could wear them throughout her 20s and 30s. If you are 40+ and have waited to splurge on emerald earnings, I'd suggest you pay the piper and kick it up to larger stones. Absolutely it will hurt more, but remember, it's likely the only pair of emerald earrings you'll ever own so just bite the bullet for better value. The color of the emeralds on both the earrings and matching ring were a pleasing rich green. The clarity was somewhere in the middle, not translucent and not exactly cloudy, but acceptable for the sale prices, which we love Macy's for offering! With the earrings, clarity didn't matter as much because they are smaller. These earrings are wearable every day, not for big, slashy galas.

Brilliant diamonds but the emerald stone is small.
