Absolutely love this. As with my other Dyson products this does exactly as promised. I have the Supersonic and Airwrap and now with the Airstrait I have every hairstyle I could want covered. It smooths and straightens my hair so well. My hair dries very quickly with little heat, no frizz and had a beautiful shine.

Works well at straightening, takes a while though. Quite heavy to hold for the time it takes to use on my thick hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this yesterday and already can’t live with out it. It took me 5 min to straighten my hair!
I loved this product it makes my hair soft and shiny after using it
Bought this hoping I won’t need to use to the other straightener at all but leaves hair flyaway instead of smooth. So not 100% happy with these.
I absolutely love the Dyson air Strait. It's a game changer for my hair. I have quite thick frizzy wavy here and normally it would take me 30 to 40 minutes to blow dry my hair from wet with the air strait It takes me about 10 minutes from wet and it makes my hair quite straight which is a huge bonus for me. It's a huge time saver for me and I absolutely love the result makes my hair really shiny frizz free.
I bought this 2 weeks ago. I was unsure about purchasing it because of mixed reviews online. After using it on my hair and 2 of my daughters hair a few times, I am still unsure if I am happy with. The 1 thing that I would give 5 stars on, is how it makes your hair feel afterwards. It doesn't fewl burned, especially on the ends, when compared to other brand straightners. One of the reasons for giving less stars is when you use it on damp hair. I have to open windows and doors as the steam builds up rapidly and has set the smoke alarm off. We tried it on each of our hair, at various dampness and have found the only way to stop this is to dry our hair completely before using this. I find this defeats the purpose of buying a wet to straight product, when I am still using my seperate hairdrier. I find this easier and quicker than drying with the airstrait. The other down side is the price. It is very expensive for what is now only a product to use to straighten parts that I missed with my hairdrier...which is a dyson also. Myself and 1 daughter have wavy/curly hair that frizzes easily. I do find that this does help ease this, especially the waviness. I don't find it lasts all day, but it does last better than I thought it would. I have also found this difficult to use on a fringe, as it is quite wide, so you can't really get close to your roots or short fringe. So overall, I would say I am still on the fence with this. It has good and bad points. I do think is better for your hair with the lower heat, and you can feel and see it after your first use. I don't think it's quick to use though, I take just as long or maybe longer straightening my hair. Also, with the smoke alarm issue, I don't use this on damp hair, which is basically half the use of the airstrait.
I really don’t need a hair dryer anymore - all I do is straighten , so if that is what you want, then this is it . So easy to use from wet to dry. Doesn’t damage hair . Definitely controls the frizz factor and the shine is great . I’m so happy with the Airstraight. Got to use my Blue Light card and saved even more which sealed the deal for me . There not cheap but I’m so happy I’ve bought this and Blue Light Card saved me another $20 . It all adds up. The only down fall is that it doesn’t come with a pouch to store it .
I was disappointed with this Dyson flat iron. Instead of leaving my hair smooth, it left me with a lot of frizz. It is also much noisier than I expected, and the sound makes me a little nervous because I’m concerned something may be wrong with it or that it could potentially damage my hair. For the price, I expected much better results.
Before the Air Straight I usually let my hair air dry then straighten with an iron. The air straight tends to leave it with more volume, but also more fluffy. The style is softer and less sleek, and doesn’t stay straight as long. It’s bulky but easy enough to manoeuvre.
